 What is the SAT?
SAT is an acronym for Scholastic Aptitude Test. The SAT Reasoning Test (or SAT I) is a standardized test which is used to assess academic knowledge and the analytical skills of the students. Its results allow the admissions committee to assess the willingness of the enrollee to study at the American universities. SAT has to be taken not only by the foreigners, but also by the U.S. citizens. And if you want to enter the one of the top world university you need to receive a certain passing score.

SAT exam scores are acceptable for some European universities, where the study is in English. Applicants who decide to get a bachelor's degree (mostly SAT is popular in the U.S. and Canada), have to pass SAT. Exam is mandatory for undergraduate students of the national universities who want to continue their study in the universities of the U.S. or Canada.

SAT I has a fairly simple structure, which is based on three main sections. Critical Reading section includes 67 different types of the tasks, in which you need to select the correct answer from five proposed variants. You have to do them in 70 minutes. During Writing section the candidates are offered to do 49 tasks in one hour. Questions are designed to test your knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. And you will be required to write one essay during 25 minutes. In total you have 60 min for writing section.

In the Math section you need to solve 54 tasks in 70 minutes. Questions are based on knowledge of the algebra, geometry, statistics and some elements include feature sets, modules, numbers, equations with radicals and functions.
The test is computer-based. The total duration of the exam SAT Reasoning Test is approximately four hours. In the end of the test each candidate has to do the tasks of the experimental section.

 What is the GRE?

The GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) is a standardized test taken by students who are applying to graduate level and PhD in the US and in some other parts of the world.
The GRE General Test has three main divisions: Analytical Writing; Verbal Reasoning; Quantitative Reasoning. A typical computer-based test starts with the Analytical Writing section (1 hour).

There are 2 sections of Verbal Reasoning each with approximately 20 questions to be completed in 30 minutes.

There are 2 sections of Quantitative Reasoning each with approximately 20 questions to be completed in 35 minutes.

There is usually also an unidentified unscored section that can appear at any position in the test. The computer-based GRE takes 3 hours 45 minutes.

Why to take the GMAT exam?

Quality graduate business programs rely on the GMAT to make admissions decisions, so if you’re serious about business school, then the GMAT is your best first step.

The GMAT Test has four divisions: Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative, and Verbal.

The Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) measures your ability to think critically and to communicate your ideas. During the AWA, you are asked to analyze the reasoning behind a given argument and write a critique of that argument.

The Integrated Reasoning section measures your ability to evaluate information presented in multiple formats from multiple sources – skills you need to succeed in our technologically advanced, data-driven world.

The Quantitative section measures your ability to analyze data and draw conclusions using reasoning skills. The mathematics needed to understand and solve the questions in this section of the GMAT exam is no greater than what is generally taught in secondary school classes.
The Verbal section measures your ability to read and understand written material, to evaluate arguments, and to correct written material to conform to standard written English. The total duration of the test is 3 hours 30 minutes. The test is computer-based.
