To deliver English language lessons to Corporate/Public clients which are in line with their learning objectives. To record learner’s attendance and evaluate learner’s progress. To provide LSD with the information it requires in order to produce monthly Management Information Reports.

Responsibilities |
Teaching · Preparing their lessons thoroughly, according to stated objectives of the curriculum. · Ensuring they arrive at lessons at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time. · Teaching classes as prescribed by the Customer Care Coordinator and Lead Teacher. · Setting and correcting student homework. · Facilitating continuous assessment procedures(written assignments, presentations) · Conducting mid- and end-of-course assessment tests
Course Monitoring and Implementation · Ensuring that attendance sheets are signed by students · Track the hours of the sub- and level courses · Completing monthly administrative forms (lesson content forms, attendance sheets, etc) and ensuring that these are given to administration on time. · Attending team meetings with other teachers, Lead Teacher & Director · Attending meetings with the Director and Lead Teacher to review their classes and inform her of: ü the language areas they have covered ü whether the learners are progressing at the anticipated pace ü homework activities – whether these are all being completed by the students ü any other issues that arise (eg. fast/slow learners in the group) ü any classes which are no longer effective · Covering for other trainers in the event of sickness. · Conducting placement tests of new trainees as prescribed by the Customer Care Coordinator
Teacher and Resource Development · Participating in and delivering in-company teacher development workshops · Developing supplementary materials and resources for general, business and technical courses · Developing specific skills courses as required by the Customer Care Coordinator · Participating in teacher and peer observations and appraisal procedures every three months. |
